Reeves Law, PA opened in 2001 when attorney James E. Reeves moved his practice to Summerville, South Carolina, where he and his family have lived since 1993. He left his membership at a larger, well-established firm in downtown Charleston so that he could continue to work as an attorney, but also spend more time with his family.

Jimmy has been happily married to his wife, Jan, for over 35 years, and looks forward to the next 35 years. His daughter, Grace, formerly danced with the Cincinnati Ballet. She is married and the mother of 3 beautiful little girls. His son, James, graduated from The Citadel and now plays baseball in the New York Yankees organization.
